Did you know that blogging is the only affordable online business that you can make a leaving with it...

Yet there is are a lot of bloggers who are not making a leaving because they implementing some blogging mistakes which they should avoid?

That horrible, right?

But don't worry.

Today you are going to learn 11 blogging mistakes to avoid at all costs in 2022.

Some blogging mistakes I learned how to avoid sooner, and some I regret not doing it right away, but I manage to go through them.

I'll show you the blogging mistakes, and how to do the right things with each of them.

Without wasting your time, let's get into details.

Shall we?

#1. Picking an unprofitable niche.

Let's face it.

If you want to make money with your blog, you must pick a profitable niche that will give consistent income from your blog per month.

It's no longer just picking a niche that you like, it's now picking a niche that you like and it pays you from your effort.

So which niche is profitable to get started with? Well, here few you should consider.

Cryptocurrencies.

Email marketing.

Social media marketing.

Make money online.

Affiliate marketing.

SEO marketing.

Ads

Loans

Dropshipping

Digital Softwares

Computer

Insurance

If you don't have experience in one of the niches I mentioned above, the best approach is to pick a niche that you are interested in.

For example, if you are interested in marketing, you can read books, download free courses, and spend time learning about that topic.

That is what I did in 2019 before I become a blogger, and that is why the name of this blogger is called 360techspot Media readers

#2. Buying all the requirements from the start.

This is a very dangerous blogging mistake, my friend.

You'll never buy everything you need for your blog in the beginning because you:

Don't know if you are good with blogging.

Don't know if you'll be making money.

All most don't know anything about blogging.

You don't have a mentor to guide you.

Start slow, don't rush ~ Entrepreneur reader.

The most important requirement you need to have if you are going to start a blog on WordPress is:

A custom domain

A web hosting plan.

A Premium theme.

A great Web hosting platform to get started with only $2.65 per month is Namecheap.

The customer services are good, and the best part I like about Namecheap is that you can pay with cryptocurrencies, and you can not only buy web hosting, but also a custom domain, VPN, custom email, everything required to start a blog.

Click here to learn more about Namecheap.

And if you are going to start on Blogger, you just need to buy a custom domain on Namecheap, and a premium theme on Templateify.

Very cheap for new bloggers who have little money to spend.

#3. Using a free blogging platform for over 6 months.

It's not a bad idea to start a blog on free blogging.

In fact.

It's a good thing because you are learning how to blog without investing a dime.

For example, if you start a blog on BlogSpot, you are going to learn about:

How to embed links

What are internal links and external links?

Headlines and subheading

HTML coding

Post images.

Pages and posts.

How content management looks.

Template designing

And a lot more

All this without even investing, but you shouldn't be using it for more than six months.

Why?

Because all online business takes 6 months to one year to start seeing results even if it's a social media channel.

What do I mean by seeing results?

I mean starting to get clicks, either affiliate links or internal links on your blog, and traffic from Quora since I promoting my content mostly on Quora in six months.

I didn't believe that until started my blog on BlogSpot.

During that time I also believe that if you focus on one platform to make money online within 6 months, you can become successful.

I 100% guarantee.

You just need to continue posting consistently for 6 months.

Now, after seeing results on your blog you can migrate to a WordPress blog or you can buy a custom domain on Namecheap, and a premium theme for your blog on Blogger, and then continue your blogging journey.

At least you know that your blog can be profitable.

#4. Learning only from blog posts and watching Youtube videos.

Learning from blog posts and youtube videos is great.

You can learn new things that are currently working on and implement them right away, but that is not enough.

If you are a beginner, learning only by reading blog posts and watching youtube videos is not going to take you far.

You need to download a free course or buy one.

But which one is better?

Well, buying a course is better, because you'll get more guides and help from the creator whenever there is a topic you don't understand.

I recommend buying this course called how to write a blog post like a pro.

It's a great course for business owners who want to market their business through blogging and individual who want to master the blog post writing skills to make a leaving with it.

Click here to learn more about the course.

Free courses are great for those who don't have money to afford it, and you'll know some skills that you'll never learn properly on blog posts or youtube videos, but some free courses are outdated which means that strategy won't work anymore

The following are some free courses that you can download for free:

Blogging Masterclass: How to build a successful blog

Blogging for a leaving: Perfect for small budget project

Best copywriting & SEO: Content, Copywriting & SEO course

Now it's up to you to decide which course are you going to start with depending on your budget.

By the way, if you want to buy a paid course, but have money to afford it, you can always complete taskS on survey sites to earn some cash.

#5. Not building a brand.

First of all, what is a brand?

A brand is a word well known for business owners who want to start a business.

A brand is what your business does to the customer.

In this case, ask yourself what is the mission of your blog?

What is that specific knowledge you want to share?

Not only that, but you should also have a logo, and custom domain (you can buy one on Namecheap).

A logo is what will differentiate your blog from blogs.

So you need to create a logo, and my top website creators are:

DesignPay

Canva

Fiverr logo maker

Namelix

DesignPay is great for those who are having little time to hire a logo designer while Canva is for those who have too much time to spend on creating a logo for them with buying anything.

Fiverr logo maker and Namelix are great for those who just want to type their name, niche, and boom!!! They'll have all the logo designs listed for them to choose from.

Building a brand is important because blogging is no longer just blogging, it's business blogging, and you need to build one to get trust.

#6. Not writing a blogging plan.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail ~ Entrepreneur reader.

Planning is very important.

Planning is writing everything about your business, life, and what you are going to do with them per day.

If game developers plan how their game will look like, you have to plan:

How is it going to be monetized

Which social media are you going to use

How your blog will look like

Income goals

Achievement

How many blog posts you are going to write per week

And many more.

You cannot keep everything in your head because you'll forget many things.

If you fail to plan, you are going to fail in your blogging career, and that is why it's a mistake that you may be doing.

The best software to write your blogging plan is: Evernote

Evernote is free and paid software that can help you organize your note, attach a file, record a file with your microphone, snap a picture using your Webcam, insert a table, and many more.

With Evernote, you can assess your files online or offline and it's available for android users and pc users. Learn more about this awesome software.

#7. Not doing keywords research.

If you want to rank on Google's first page, you cannot survive in this blogging world without doing keyword research.

It's very important for your success in blogging.

Otherwise, you play with the dice 🎲.

Meaning creating every content you want and hoping that it'll rank.

Why should you do keyword research?

Blogging is very competitive.

Every hour there is million of blog posts being published, index on google search, and everyone is competing with the same keywords you are targeting.

So the only way to beat them is to use SEO tools that will tell you which keyword is possible for your blog to rank on the search engine page and those that are not.

The best free tools which will be useful for you are Google planner and Google trends.

This keyword tool is perfect for beginners who don't want to invest in paid SEO tools.

#8. Focusing on building backlinks.

I know backlinks is a ranking signal, but putting too much focus on it, will make you write bad content that will not rank.

Yes, it's not 100% required to build backlinks to rank on Google search because some blog posts rank on Google search without it.

That is why you should not put too much focus on building links and instead focus on writing content that people are searching for, and it's a low competitive keyword.

Don't follow this so-called expert who tells you to do email outreach, because nowadays, people can quickly spot someone trying to look for backlinks.

The best approach to get backlinks, it's to practice writing unique articles that will "WoW" readers and make them share your post.

That's it.

No need to do email outreach.

This strategy died 3 years ago.

#9. Not watching your competitors.

Are you re-inventing the wheel?

Please don't.

Successful bloggers only looked for what is working and implement it every day.

And the best way to find out what is working is by watching and learning from blogs that were on the online market before you.

Every niche, every income, and every blog post is already done by some else.

You just need to copy, make it better, and implement it.

If you ignore your competitors, you are missing what they are doing wrong which you can do better, and what they are doing right which you can copy.

So watch what they post, the tools they are using, and where are they getting the readers (traffic).

The bottom line is: Watching your competitor, either one or two without blinking.

#10. Monetizing your blog too soon.

I won't deny it, this is the first blogging mistake I did when I started blogging on December 9th, 2020.

I saw that income per month that does great bloggers like Hassan from H-educate.com and many others, and I thought that could make that too in that month.

So I started trying to get approved by Google AdSense to make that income from blogging on the first month of starting my blog.

I didn't even learn how Google AdSense works before I started trying it, but later on, I learned everything about it and figured out something.

As a blogger who is trying to make money online, your first job is to learn how to drive as much traffic to your blog per month either from:

Google search.

Bing search

Quora

Facebook

Instagram

Or Pinterest

Getting traffic from Google search and Bing search should be your priority.

Why?

Because getting traffic from Google and Bing is consistent which means it never stops.

it just grows, and that only happens when:

You learn how to write a blog post that ranks (remember the free and paid courses I mentioned)

Have a professional WordPress blog or Blogger blog (Namecheap is the solution).

Some of you are already arrogant just by telling you this, and that is happening because you have a broken mentality.

Your blog should be the only page that doesn't look cheap, it should look professional, and clean because a professional blog leaves a good impression, and build more trust.

So if you want to rank on Google search, build trust, security, private email for free, your domain plus dot com and the end, and build a loyal audience, Namecheap is the solution to all these problems.

After getting traffic to your blog, that is when you can apply for AdSense and another Ad network out there.

#11. Building an email list from day one.

Building an email list from the day is not for everyone, because it's not easy like other ways of building an audience (e.g Facebook page, Instagram page, Telegram, or Pinterest page).

But building an email list is great for affiliate marketers.

The reason why I'm writing this, it's because I think that building an email list is dead for just having an audience on your list, and more and more people spend hours on social media compared to reading an email from companies.

Your post on a Facebook page can be shared a million times, but your emails can be shared once or not shared at all.

You can reach millions of people on social media faster than building an email list, and because of this, I don't recommend building an email list from day one.

Instead, build a social media presence from day one, and I promise you that you'll feel much better this way.

By the way, if you want to build an email list for promoting affiliate products, but you don't know how to get started, I recommend clicking on this Secret Email System to make 6-figures online with Email marketing.

Email marketing may still be dead for other things, but if you want to make money with affiliate marketing using email marketing, then that is a great option for you, and you subscribe to this Secret Email System to get started.

Final thought.

Blogging mistakes can not be stopped, you'll always commit them, but these mistakes are common blogging mistakes I see all the time.

You now know how to avoid them, now the best approach it's to stop doing them, and start implementing the right things.

To stay 100% away from things blogging mistakes I mention, you should buy the courses or download the courses I mention above.

They are free to download.
